Come train on the ocean in the best climate in the Western Hemisphere and get certified as a paraglider pilot!  You can then fly at various sites throughout the world.  A Novice Pilot certification (P-2) takes anywhere from 10 days to a few weeks depending on your schedule and chosen pace.

To become a P-2 pilot, you are required to have 25 flights (whether short or long).  We start training on the beach and on grassy fields in the parks in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach counties.  Then we progress to short flights, either on the beach or out in the fields, or both.  The two primary locations for high altitude flights are towns of South Bay and LaBelle.  In addition to in-field training, students also complete a number of hours of ground school and must pass a certification test before they receive an official rating.

There are no mountains in Florida, so we launch by towing, i.e., by attaching ourselves to a tow line and pulling ourselves up in the air, kind of like a kite.  We use cutting edge towing technology — a fully electric and frictionless paragliding winch (eWinch), which provides super safe and super smooth tows.

United States Hang-gliding and Paragliding Association (USHPA) uses the following certifications:

P-1 Student Pilot

P-2 Novice Pilot

P-3 Intermediate Pilot

P-4 Advanced Pilot

P-5 Master Pilot

Further information about these ratings is available on the United States Hanggliding and Paragliding Association (USHPA) website.

Training and flying locations can be found here.  In addition, we often conduct training sessions near Hollywood, FL and Aventura/Bal Harbour.
