Our eWinch features a modular design. It consists of several compact and light-weight modules, including a mechanical module, a control module, and a power module (battery). The mechanical module includes the motor, spool and frame that are ready to be mounted on a car, boat, or to the ground (such as on the beach or somewhere in the field). The mechanical module connects to the control module – a box that makes up the “brains” of the eWinch. The control module is where everything else plugs in, including the antenna for the remote operation and any other peripherals.
Because of its modular design, the eWinch is very easy to handle, transport, mount, and use by one person. Each module, even the mechanical module, is fairly light -weight, so that a single pilot can set up the system almost anywhere they like and turn almost any place into a launch.
